Our Mission

We need to raise $2861.00 to rebuild the two anganwadi’s (preschools). This includes, rebuilding the foundation, the walls, installing windows for cross ventilation, insulation and a concrete corrugated roof, connecting electricity mains for light and fans,connecting the building to a council water supply, installing troughs for the children to wash and drink from and replacing all learning equipment and toys.

Every $366 we raise after that will fund one anaganwadi ( preschool) to run for one year.
This ensures that each child ( 50 per school) get a nutritious meal per day, ensures the wages for a committed and reliable teacher and for the supply of vaccinations and health treatments.

There are 64 anganwadis in the Tekra slum community. We hope that together,as a Bholu community we can adopt as many as we can to make a difference to these little bubalah’s lives. We will be keeping everyone up to date of the developments and share the documentation of the building progress and children’s growth and learnings.
