Inspiration

These women were our first inspiration to start Bholu. After surviving the devastating earthquake in 2001, with rebuilt lives and homes, they went back to what they do best. Embroidery.

It was inspiring to see such skill in the middle of such vast arid landscape. These women preactise their traditional embroidery for their own clothes and daughters dowry. It was such an inspiration to see their talent and the opportunity Bholu could provide these kind of women.

Bholu was born.
